In our orthodontic practice specializing in children, adolescents, adults, and dental sleep medicine, we offer various types of invisible braces for you and your family.

What systems are available?

We offer two primary treatment options. On the one hand, we work with lingual technology, which includes the WIN™ apparatus. On the other hand, we use aligner technology with Invisalign® and custom-made aligners produced in our own lab.

It is important to note that these invisible braces are suitable for both adolescents and adults. The aligner technique (tray treatment) is employed in our orthodontic practice based on the specific findings.

Here, we will focus on the commonalities between the various invisible brace systems. These are transparent, elastic tray appliances designed to correct dental misalignments. Their advantage is the discreet treatment process, as the trays are almost invisible to others. Therefore, they represent a very good alternative to traditional fixed braces.

This method of orthodontic treatment requires comprehensive medical knowledge and clinical expertise in orthodontics. Comprehensive knowledge of the biology of dental and jaw development and biomechanics is essential to achieve an excellent, patient-specific result and to minimize potential side effects.

Which system is right for you will be explained in a personal consultation. Please get in touch.

What can you expect?

After a thorough consultation and diagnosis, your jaws will be scanned and converted into a digital jaw model. Your orthodontist can show you through a computer model how the therapy will progress and what the final result of the aligner therapy will look like. Based on the digital data, a set of aligner pairs will be produced, which must be changed at regular intervals (every two weeks). The transparent special trays gently move the teeth step by step into the desired position.

The trays should only be removed for eating and cleaning; otherwise, it is important that our patients wear them around the clock to achieve the optimal treatment outcome. The new trays may cause a slight feeling of tension, which is normal and will quickly subside. Clean the trays with lukewarm water and avoid hot drinks, as this may cause deformation of the material.
